“Best dish for me was mushroom and scallops. I love mushrooms and like fish and you brought the tastes and flavours out so well. I had not tasted lotus root before which surprised me and went so well giving a crunchy side to the otherwise soft dish. I also liked the rice with pomegranate and meat balls. The rice with pomegranate a wondeful idea that goes well with the theme too. Softness and citrusy flavour of the meat balls and sauce. Not to mention I loved Sorrel so much!
I normally dont break bread with strangers and I have not been to supper clubs before. You had made me familiar with it and yourself already through pictures on twitter and Instagram. It didn’t feel like a club to me rather a company of friends who I could comfortably engage with in a homely environment”.
