Blessings for New Year

Here is sending abundance, health and a whole lots LOVE. This amaryllis was received as a gift, as i nurtured it from bulb to bloom. Seeing it evolve closely was a joy to behold and I crafted these images. Felt important to extend the vibrations of love I received – so I am sharing that LOVE!!

Blessings for Now, Abundance, Health and a whole lotta LOVE!

This amaryllis was received as a gift from my neighbour. I nurtured it from bulb to bloom. Seeing it evolve closely was a joy to behold as I crafted these images for the entire month. I then published  the series in my blog two years ago. Rumi’s quote fills me with awe and inspiration. I felt it was  important to extend the vibrations of love I had received via the amaryllis. So here I am, Rumi and the flower in union while I continue to share my blessings and LOVE!!

A very happy new year to you all. Live every moment of 2018 with blessings, Love and More Love.

These terms are still used freely in playgrounds and classrooms and bedrooms. Gender specific roles as demanded by society become iconic masculinity or femininity. And this song and dance, performance on demand changes from culture to religion to class. Continue reading HyperReal… Mas(k)culinities

Connections ~ shake and shimmy

Thousand and One Nights theme wandered from Efteling and proliferated Olivier’s bedroom in no time. His dreams pulsed with qanun and oud. In his early teens, at a hotel lobby in Cario, dance of the belly uncoiled his kundalini. Olivier has been shaking and shimmying this awakened serpent ever since.
