Casa Ali

Casa Ali ~ is a supper club inspired by all those with whom I have broken bread and shared food as a host or as a guest.

Aubergine and yogurt with herbs and spices
Basmati rice with pomegranate seeds
Plantain, avocado, mangosteen salsa with bitter almond
Leek, potato, tomato, shallot, chicken heart and cobnut
Sweet potato, broccoli, mushroom, bean sprout, sweet pepper and grape
Red lentils, salmon, courgette and mushrooms
Aubergine, prawns, cheese and almond on wheat cracker
Puy lentil with parsley, crisped ginger and sunflower seeds
Plantain, beets, sweet red pepper and grapes
Black sticky rice, mango and lime
Chicken, rice, butternut squash and plantain
Parsnips , romanesco broccoli and raw sweet peppers
Plantain, red cabbage, celeriac, carrots and shrimp
Red cabbage, lotus root, mushroom and coriander slasa
Butternut squash, celery and sweet red pepper
Nasturtiums, courgette, lamb tongue, goats cheese and black berry salsa
Courgette, butter bean, onion, tomato, mozzarella and prawns
Sea grass, carrots, beans, red cabbage, black berries in agar and prawns
Chicken and salsa with leeks and rose petals
Red lentils with toasted seeds and infused oil
Plantain, cucumber, avocado, carrot and lettuce salad
Sweet potato, butternut squash, sweet pepper, garlic and shallot
Halloumi, courgette and plum salsa
Labne with spicy blackberry compote, jerusalem artichoke, poppy seeds, ginger and butternut squash

Located, south of the river in London, Casa Ali is just 11 minutes by train from London Bridge + a ten minute walk from Norwood Junction. The exact location is a secret (will be given out via e-mail a week in advance of the meal), it adds a little mystery! Continue reading Casa Ali
